Yesterday, City Council’s Economic Development and Strategic Planning & Technology Committee met for a final review of the Greenmead Historical Park Master Plan proposal. Minor changes were made to the plan shared in October following public feedback that relates to the community gardens.
Much like Livonia Vision21, the Greenmead Master Plan is non-binding and doesn’t include a financial commitment. It will be used as a guidepost for future budgeted Parks and Recreation projects, grant applications and site improvement plans.

Members of council spoke favorably of the plan and it can be expected to be approved at a future council meeting.
