City Clerk Susan Nash reminded voters that Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th and the polls will be open from 7am to 8pm.

Residents can stop by City Hall Mondays through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm to pick up ballots for early voting and the Clerk’s office will be open for Election related business on Saturday, November 5th from 7:30am to 3:30pm

City Council will be hosting a November 7 Committee of the Whole meeting regarding the rezoning of 31501 Schoolcraft. The meeting will be held at 7 PM at City Council Chambers.

Two committees, the Capital Infrastructure and Economic Development, reported out on recent hearings. Vote.Run.Serve-Livonia has previously covered the subjects of both hearings: the Alfred Noble Library and the Greenmead Master Plan/Plymouth Road development, respectively.

• Award of design and construction contract for Senior Center Addition and Recreation Center Improvement Project to Hubble, Roth, and Clark
• First reading of ordinance consolidating the two child abuse ordinances in the city of Livonia
