Today, Michigan Board of State Canvassers deadlocked over placing the Promote the Vote and Reproductive Freedom for All ballot initiatives on the ballot for the November general election.

Petitioning organizations can appeal to the Michigan Supreme Court to overturn the board’s decision.

Ultimately ballot petitions must be decided by September 9, in order to accommodate the ballot printing deadline.
