Council chose to approve the agenda without removing the item because the law department advised that if this the court decision has an impact it would be resolved at that time.]

The award of bid request to replace the Wilson Barn Roof was approved unanimously.

Following state flagged violations at refueling sites, the City was required to use emergency funds for repairs. Before approving the payment, the Council asked that the administration return with a proposal for how often inspections need to be done to avoid this in the future and additional details about preventative maintenance.
An amended ordinance proposal will be considered that limits flags flown on public buildings owned by the City of Livonia to the State of Michigan, County of Wayne, City of Livonia, United States military flags, Public Safety flags and P.O.W/M.I.A flags.
An alternative motion to send the proposed flag ordinance to committee of the whole, raised by Council Member Mccullough also raised.
