♻️ Recycling– For many, spring cleaning means an opportunity to clean out closets, pantries, or retire old. Please consider donating shoes to Livonia Kiwanis – Early Risers, as they fundraise for their annual Livonia Scholarship program. 😎 Renewable Energy and Sustainable Living Fair – on April 23, Greenleaf Commission on Sustainability – Livonia, Michigan will be hosting a FREE sustainability fair at Madonna University. 🌳 Arbor Day – Did you know Livonia has been recognized as a Tree City by the National Arbor Day Foundation? The Tree City Committee will be celebrating Arbor Day at Coolidge Elementary at 2:30.

🌱 Livonia Seed Library Grand Opening – Livonia Public Library will be cutting the proverbial ribbon on their Seed Library on 4/30. Attendees can enter in a rare seed raffle, connect with fellow backyard gardeners, and learn more about the program. Patrons can ‘check out’ up to five seeds.

💚 Newburgh Lake Cleanup in Livonia – Looking for volunteer opportunities? Volunteers will be cleaning up Newburgh Lake on Saturday May 14, from 9am to noon.
