Gardening In Livonia

Spring is a week away and the perfect time to start planning for your garden. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or novice here are some local resources to help you flourish.

The Livonia Public Library introduces its NEW Seed Library on Saturday, March 19th from 1pm to 2pm during a free community workshop to show you how to borrow and return seeds. The Seed Library will open to the public on April 30th.

Looking for a plot in a community garden? Head to Greenmead Historical Park. 24×24 plots are available to rent for $32 a season. Registration opens at 9am on Tuesday, April 5th. Space is limited so act fast.

The Livonia Garden Club hosts meetings at the Senior Center from September through May and hosts monthly workshops. Learn more on their website and connect with local gardeners:
