Great news! Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off is back.

Residents are able to drop-off up to 100lbs of household hazardous waste for a $5 fee. Additional material is 75 cents per pound over 100lbs BUT you can return the next day with the overage and receive the $5 rate for up to another 100lbs.

Most items are accepted but not Styrofoam. You can drop-off paint but note that it is heavy and can only be deposited from household use – not business use. Here is a list of accepted items: https://ergenvironmental.com/household-hazardous-waste…/

ERG Environmental Services Drop-Off Center is located at 13040 Merriman Road (south of Schoolcraft just north of the train tracks).

Beginning next week the drop off hours will be as listed below, currently it is 9am to 5pm Monday thru Friday:

• Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 9am to 5pm
• Tuesday/Thursday: 9am to 7pm
