History presenters Pam Craig and Judy Kulchar will be in person to celebrate Women’s History Month with this fun presentation highlighting important contributions made to Women’s History by Nellie Bly, Annie Oakley, Marjorie Merriweather Post and Gloria Steinem.

- History Lecture Series- Detroit Public Library @ Greenmead Historical Park at 2pm. Learn about the contributions of local and national artists such as Mary Chase Perry Stratton, Gari Melchers, and John Stephens Coppin, and view photographs of the rooms they have decorated with murals, mosaics, painted windows, bronze works, architectural elements, and ornamentation from author Barbara Cohn.

- Reptire and Amphibian Encounter @ Nankin Mill Interpretive Center from 9:30am to 11am. An up-close live animal encounter-learn about Michigan turtles, snakes, frogs, and salamanders. We will also have plenty of props to observe. The fee is $5.00 per person ($6 per person if out of county) and is recommended for ages five and older. Siblings younger than five may attend for free.
