- History Lecture Series- Spirit of Detroit: Architecture, Urbanism, and Imagination @ Greenmead Historical Park from 6:30pm to 8pm. Join art/architectural historian Deborah Lubera Kawsky for a visual tour of Detroit’s urbanistic and architectural history, from its beginnings as a frontier metropolis through its hey dey in the midcentury period to its recent revival. Free and no registration required.
- Dollars for Scholars: A Night at the Speakeasy @ St. Mary’s Cultural and Banquet Center at 7pm. The Livonia Public Schools Education Foundation invites community members, local businesses and partners to support its 2026 Gala through event sponsorships or individual attendance. Tickets are $100 each, and $75 for LPS Staff members. Dress code is 1920s , those dressed for the occasion will be entered into a contest for a prize!

Each session focuses on a different technique, offering clear instruction, time to practice, and space to enjoy the process alongside others who love to make things. - Joyful Partner Yoga @ RealJoy Yoga at 7pm. Candice and Matt invite you to step onto the mat with the people who matter most—whether that’s a romantic partner, a close friend, a sibling, or a parent‑child duo (age 15 +). - Healthy Livonia’s 100 Days To Health Kick-Off from 9am to 11:45am. Healthy Livonia’s 100 Days to Health is a community-wide wellness program designed to support healthy habits for the whole family throughout the winter and spring. Participants can take part in a wide range of activities including fitness classes, nutrition and wellness seminars, FREE Fridays at the Rec, open swim, rock climbing, and special family and youth programs.

- Stories, Snacks, and Crafts! Presidents Day @ Greenmead Historical Park from 10:30am to 12pm. Join us for a morning of history, creativity and snacks as we celebrate some of the leaders who shaped our country. This event is best for ages 4-10 to learn through hands-on fun and storytelling. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Adult Coffee, Tea, Cocoa and Coloring @ Civic Center Library at 6:30pm. Join us for an evening of relaxation time as we color and enjoy coffee, tea or cocoa. All supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own!

- Kids On Campus Open House @ Schoolcraft College at 6:30pm. Parents, kids, and teens, this is a great opportunity to see all that Kids on Campus and Teens on Campus has to offer! Meet select class instructors and participate in hands-on activities. Ask questions and get information about the camps you want to take.

- Noon Concert Series: Music of China for the Chinese New Year @ Schoolcraft College at 12pm. Chinese-born Xiao Dong Wei, a 2012 Kresge Fellow, is a master of the erhu, a two-string Chinese fiddle that has played a noble role in Chinese folk and classical music.
- B.Y.O. Crafts Night @ Greenmead Historical Park from 6pm to 8pm. Bring your own supplies and craft at your own pace, whether you’re picking up where a class left off, or working on a personal project. Enjoy a relaxed, social setting with fellow crafters. We’ll provide refreshments, you bring the creativity! Advance registration for $5/participant, drop-in $7/participant (cash only). This program is best for ages 14 and older.

- Noontime Concert @ Civic Center Library at 12:15pm. Detroit area musicians Tom Dooley, Marilyn Hotaling and Sally Kilcullen–for a lively performance of Celtic and traditional music. Bring your lunch and a friend and enjoy the show!
- LPL Art Studio: Dala Horses II @ Civic Center Library at 6:30pm. Back by popular demand, this LPL Art Studio session invites participants to celebrate the winter season with an evening of Dala horse painting inspired by the beloved wooden horses of Sweden. Traditionally hand-carved and brightly painted, Dala horses are a cherished symbol of Swedish folk art and holiday tradition. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the history and symbolism behind these festive figures while creating your own beautifully painted keepsake. All supplies will be provided—just bring your creativity!

Enjoy an afternoon discovering some of the history of Lunar New Year from our guest speaker, Dr. Lucky of Lucky Flow Acupuncture of Livonia. - LPL Art Studio: Mandala Art ft. Snehal Ambreat @ Civic Center Library at 6pm. From themed mixed-media workshops to instructor-led studio art classes taught by College for Creative Studies students and local artists, each session offers a fresh opportunity to explore new techniques and expand your artistic horizons. In this workshop, participants will learn to create their own mandala artwork—meaningful pieces designed to bring harmony, color, and emotional presence into their homes, yoga studios, or meditation spaces.
