• Stuff-A-Pet Party: Pumpkin Pie Kitty at Kirksey Recreation Center at 1pm.  This program is best for ages 4-10. Tickets are $25
• Treat and Meet at Mies Park from 2pm to 4pm. Bring the family (or come alone) to meet the candidates for City Council and get some treats.
• Empty Chair Night at Trinity House Theatre at 7pm. Tickets are $12

Thursday, October 9th:

Friday, October 10th:

• Adult Craft Night: Cork Pumpkins @ Greenmead Historical Park at 7pm.  This session includes all materials to make two charming cork pumpkins- perfect for autumn décor or gifting. Advance registration is required for $22

• Bluestone VOICES for Autism Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat from 11am to 2pm. Enjoy trunk-or-treating, a pumpkin patch, sensory stations, cider and donuts, photo opportunities, face painting, and more. Admission is $6 (children under 2 are free).
• Faith and Blue with a Splash of Pink from 11am to 2pm at Nehasil Memorial Park

• Bell Creek Fall Fest: Trunk or Treat from 2pm to 4:30pm. Games, bounce houses, face painting, trunk or treating, and our Chili Cook Off! This event is FREE and we welcome our community to join. 

Tuesday, October 21st:

• Free History Lecture Series: Gilded Age Murder of the Century at Greenmead Historical Park at 2pm. , Pam Craig will share the story of the glamorous Evelyn Nesbit.
• Open Stage at Trinity House at 6pm.
• Farm to Fork: Taste the Change at Greenmead Historical Park at 6pm.  “How to Eat Locally”: Learn simple, realistic ways to bring more local food to your everyday meals. We’ll cover which foods are in season and how to cook with them. You’ll also get tips on seasonal food resources that help you familiarize yourself with local foods in southeast Michigan through the year. You’ll also get meal planning tips and a few recipes.
• Creating a Sustainable Livonia Community with the Greenleaf Commission at Civic Center LIbrary at 7pm

Wednesday, October 22nd:

• Livonia Rotary World Polio Day – Spaghetti Dinner Community Fundraiser at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church from 5pm to 7pm. Join a community dinner ($20 at door for adults or $18 online – $5 for kids).

Thursday, October 23rd:

• Total Spectrum’s Livoina Learning Center Sensory-Friendly Trunk or Treat from 5pm to 7pm. Kids can enjoy Halloween at their own pace with crafts, games, and, of course, candy.
• Stuff-A-Pet Party: Werewolves at Kirksey Recreation Center at 1pm.  This program is best for ages 4-10. Tickets are $25
• Stewards of the Rouge River Watershed Free Workshop @ DPW from 6pm to 8pm. Learn how you can protect water quality in many areas, including your home, yard, and community! This free, informational workshop is open to the public. RSVP here
• CULEX 2025: An American Harvest @ Schoolcraft College from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Tickets are $250

Friday, October 24th:

Tuesday, October 28th:

• Parent / Child Drawing Workshop at Civic Center Library at 6pm. Join author and Illustrator Amy Nielander as she shows you and your child how to foster better communication through drawing. Registration is required. Please register you and your child in a single registration. Ages 5-12
• Midcentury Livonia & The Architecture of Suburbia at Civic Center Library at 7pm. Join Josh Lipnik to take a nostalgic look back at the architecture that defined the rapid growth of Livonia and its neighbors in the years following World War II.
