Council went over the original proposal from the administration. 9 bids were submitted for a like-to-like replacement that is ADA compliant. Bids ranged from $829k to $1.3M and the lowest bid was recommended.

Alternative options were discussed including excluding a fireplace ($115k savings) pre-frab structures and doing only pre-cast bathrooms for the time being.

The final Council recommendation that will be pursued by the administration is a rescope and rebid for a stick-build proposal. The timeline for the new scope and bid is approximately 8 weeks.

Replacing the pavilion was not part of the Parks & Rec capital improvement plan and there are no dedicated funds for this project. Current funding sources include:

• $260,000 from insurance
• $100,000 fundraised by Rotarians
