- Summer Flea market at Greenmead from 10am to 4pm. Bring your wagon or cart and shop from over 160 vendors. Admission is $3 for guests ages 13 and older.
- Livonia Women’s Connection @ Cardwell Florist from1pm to 3pm
Thursday, June 5th
- Livonia Built Bond Proposal – LIBRARY OPEN HOUSE @ Civic Center Library from 6pm to 7:30pm
- Recycling 101 with Priority Waste and Councilwoman Budzinski @ Civic Center Library at 6:30pm: It’s always helpful to have a reminder of what can and can’t go into recycling containers, Priority Waste Environmental Specialist, Victoria Czapski will give a presentation for all ages.
Friday, June 6th
- Livonia Symphony Orchestra’s Bob Bennett Memorial Golf Classic at Whispering Willows Golf Course.
June 6th – 8th
- Motor City Irish Fest at Greenmead is an annual event that brings together the Irish and their friends to celebrate Irish culture with music, dance, food and drink, exhibits, and activities for children. Tickets are $10 in advance per day or $15 at the gate on the day. Parking $5 per day per car.
Saturday, June 7th
- Passport To Safety at Fire Station 1 from 10am to 2pm. Meet safety mascots, play games, and join giveaways all while filling out your passport to learn about various departments and practices to keep you safe.
- Summer Reading Kickoff Party @ Livonia Public Library from 11am to 1pm. Fun events including face painting, balloon twisting, music, and life-sized board games! This is a drop-in event and will take place outside.
- Clements Circle Splash Park opening. Summer hours are Monday – Friday from 1pm to 8pm and Saturday/Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
- Botsford Pool opening. Summer hours are Monday – Friday from 1pm to 7pm and Saturday/Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
Monday, June 9th
- Creative Wellness Workshop: Explore, Express, Grow with Mahnayshia Craft @ Civic Center Library at 7pm. Join us for a relaxed, fun workshop where art becomes your tool for stress relief and self-discovery. No artistic skills required – just bring an open heart and a willingness to explore!
Tuesday, June 10th
- Sensory Shenanigans and Storytime with Mayor Brosnan @ Shelden Park at 10:15am there will be bubbles, chalk and more! This program is open to kids of all ages and will take place at Shelden Park (Farmington & Plymouth Roads). Geared towards kids ages 3-8.

- Today’s Education: A Superintndent Panel Breakfast Discussion @ Franklin High School. The panel will include Clarenceville School District’s Melissa Carruth, Garden City Public Schools’ Derek Fisher, Livonia Public Schools’ Andrea Oquist and Wayne-Westland Community Schools’ Jennifer Curry. Event will begin with breakfast and networking followed by a 45 minute panel discussion. Tickets are $30 for Livonia-Westland Chamber Members
- Livonia Symphony Orchestra Patriotic & Pops Ice Cream Social and Concert at Kirksey Recreation Center from 5:30pm to 8pm. The ice cream social begins at 5:30pm and the concert begins at 7pm.
- LPL Art Studio: Figure in Space, ft. artist Faith Jones-Honey @ Civic Center Library from 7pm to 8:30pm. Discover your creative side with LPL Art Studio, a new regularly held program at Livonia Public Library designed for all skill levels. From themed mixed media programs to instructor-led studio art classes taught by College of Creative Studies students and local artists, each event offers a fresh opportunity to explore and expand your artistic horizons.
Friday, June 13th
- Livonia’s 75th Birthday Party @ City Hall from 1pm to 3pm There will be a police therapy dog, giant lawn games, an inflatable obstacle course, putt-putt, cornhole, a fire truck, ice cream, and more!
- Recycling 101 with Priority Waste and Councilwoman Budzinski @ Senior Center at 1pm: It’s always helpful to have a reminder of what can and can’t go into recycling containers, Priority Waste Environmental Specialist, Victoria Czapski will give a presentation for seniors age 55+
- S‘mores and Stories @ Greenmead Historical Park at 7pm. Join us around the campfire as we enjoy stories, crafts, games, and of course, s’mores! This month’s theme is Dairy Delicious. Advance registration is required for $5/child, This program is best for kids age 5 to 12
Saturday, June 14th
- Coffee Hour – Let’s Talk City Budget with Councilwoman Carrie Budzinski at the Civic Center Library at 11am. Council Budget and Finance Committee Chair, Vice President Martha Ptashnik will join to talk about the city’s budget – including the proposed millage.
Monday, June 16th
- Clothing Repair Cafe with Laura Gerhardinger @ Civic Center Libray from 7pm to 8:30pm. This course will teach the basics of mending holes and tears, sewing on buttons, and introduce the concept of visible mending. Materials will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring an item of clothing to learn to repair. Ages 18+.
Tuesday, June 17th
- Community Heroes Storytime with LPD @ Shelden Park at 10:15am. Join us for a Community Heroes Storytime featuring Police Officer Ryan Hayne and Therapy Dog Cooper. There will be stories, movement, and a meet-and-greet.

- Mobile Escape Room For Teens @ Civic Center Library mutliple time slots. A dark spell has befallen the Enchanted Forest. Can you rescue the fairies and bring the light back to the forest? This 15-minute escape room tent features awesome 3D painted walls and 3D glasses!
Saturday, June 21st
- Opening Day for Wilson Barn’s Farmer Market from 9am to 2pm
- Nature Plant Sale @ Wilson Barn from 9am to 2pm. Livonia’s Greenleaf Commission is excited to host our first Native Plant Sale, partnering with Michiganense Natives, on Saturday, June 21st! Come out and visit us at Wilson Barn from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wilson Barn Farmer’s Market.
- Pride Makeup for Teens @ Civic Center Library at 10am. Join us for a rainbow makeup tutorial by Gals and Ghouls, just in time for Livonia Pride! All supplies provided. Teens going into grades 8-12 in the Fall.
- Livonia Pride @ Schoolcraft College from 11am to 2pm. Organizations will provide information and resources, food trucks, and fun.

- Village Tour at Greenmead Historical Park from 1pm to 4pm. Admission is by donation this year.
Monday, June 23rd
- Alex Thomas & Friends @ Civic Center Library at 11am. Meet a lively and lovable puppet with a unique personality that will captivate the audience from the moment they appear on stage. This funny, educational, and entertaining interactive puppet show is sure to delight audiences of all ages!
Tuesday, June 24th
- Community Heroes Storytime @ Shelden Park at 10:15am. Join us for a Community Heroes Storytime featuring Animal Control Officer Keri Brandon. There will be stories, movement, and a meet-and-greet.
- Ordinary People by Extraordinary Artists: Degas, Renoir and Friends @ Civic Center LIbrary at 7pm. Some of the most important French artists of the 19th century resisted the elitist aesthetic of the academic art tradition by emphasizing the people around them and the human experience as subject matter during a transitioning moment in the modernist era. These are all works on paper by Degas, Renoir, Manet, Toulouse-Lautrec, Vuillard, Bonnard, Cezanne. Presented by a docent from the DIA.
June 24th – 29th
- The Livonia Spree brings a week of fun with the carnival, live entertainment, 5k race, car show, pizza night, pancake breakfast, and fireworks!

Monday, June 30th
- Color Our World Mini Golf @ Civic Center Library from 11am to 12pm. Stop by the Bennett Civic Center Library and treat the family to a game of 9-hole mini golf! This event is drop-in and will be held outside. In case of inclement weather, it will be moved to the Library’s atrium.
