On Monday, May 12th City Council held a Committee of the Whole on the subject of an investigation into City Departments and their procedures as it relates to the City’s Charter.

Council presented questions to the City Clerk, who requested more time to prepare answers. A follow up meeting is scheduled for 6pm on Monday, May 19th prior to Council’s regular meeting.

The matter of pay scale for the Council Manager was also discussed and action will be taken for adjustment. City Council previously had three people working in its office but now there is only 1 dedicated employee for the office.
