- Senior Resource Fair @ Senior Center from 9am to 1pm. Celebrate the Detroit Tigers Home Opener by wearing your gear, winning prizes, eating hot dogs, and learning about senior resources for area businesses. No registration necessary or admission charge.
- Detroit Tigers Opening Day Watch Party @ O’Malley’s at 1pm.
- Sensory Reptile and Amphibian Encounters @ Nankin Mills Interpretive Center from 7pm to 8:30pm. This program is ideal for individuals with sensory processing challenges. The various reptiles and amphibians of the nature center will be on display as a naturalist explains the adaptations of the animals. Program is $5 per person

- Home School Electricity and Light @ Nankin Mills Interpretive Center from 1pm to 3pm. Learn how this early 1900s creation of sustainable, clean power worked and how similar power production is still used today! To celebrate this history, we will experiment with circuits, prisms, UV lights, and more. The program fee is $6.00 per student.
- Ted Talks @ Recreation Center from 6pm to 8pm. Ted will answer questions and provide updates on capital projects, operations, and programs in Livonia Parks and Recreation. No registration or fee is required.
- Earth Explorers- Nature’s Neighborhood @ Greenmead Historical Park at 6pm. Discover how creatures big and small find food, stay safe, and build their homes through interactive, hands-on activities! Advance registration is required for $5/child.

- Easter Egg Hunt @ St. Michael’s Catholic Church from 9:30am to 11am. Crafts and games set up in the cafeteria and an egg hunt happening in the gym- plenty of ways to keep everyone entertained. Tickets are $5 per child and you must register to attend.
- Easter Hop @ Rosedale Garden Presyterian Church from 10am to 2pm. Children will “hop” from table to table collecting a basket full of Easter surprises. They’ll meet the Easter Bunny and choose from other exciting activities too! Admission is a canned food item for our RGPC Deacon’s Food Ministry. Bring a basket.
- Easter Egg Hunt @ Life Church Livonia from 10am to 11:30am. EGGspect games, crafts, face painting, egg hunts, a bounce house, and pictures with the Easter bunny!
- Women’s Self-Protection and Defense Class @ Kirksey Recreation from 10am to 1pm. This three-hour workshop is structured to provide basic self-protection/self-defense strategies and techniques. The cost per member is $92, residents are $101
- Bunny Brunch @ Senior Center from 11am to 12:30pm. All ages are welcome to come and enjoy games and crafts, along with a visit from the Easter Bunny. All participants ages 2 and older must be registered $10 per person. Lunch consists of pizza, chips, salad, and a sweet treat!
- Seeds and Soil Earth Day Celebration @ Civic Center Library from 11am to 1pm. Each child will be allowed up to three growing pots filled with dirt, and they will be allowed to select from a wide range of seeds to be planted while at the library and taken home. There will be educational resources and posters on hand to help children (and their parents) understand the processes that turn a dormant seed into a productive plant.
- Bluestone Voices for Autism Presents: Easter Egg-stravaganza! from 11am to 2pm. Enjoy egg hunts, games, raffles, food, Easter bunny pictures, and more! Presale tickets are $9, $10 at the door for kids two and up. Adults and kids under two are free. All proceeds will provide support to families with children on the autism spectrum.

- Crafts Around The World @ Greenmead Historical Park at 6pm Through engaging craft projects like Australian dot painting, German potato printing, and more, youth will learn about different cultures, histories, and creative techniques. This interactive workshop fosters creativity, cultural appreciation, and a sense of global connection – one craft at a time! Advance registration is required for $5/child.

- Marshmallow Drop @ Nankin Mills Recreation Center at 11am. Thousands of marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter to be turned in for a prize. The event is not competitive and only one marshmallow is needed for a prize.
Saturday, April 19th
- Egg Hunt @ Rotary Park. This free egg hunt will take place by age groups every 30 minutes 10 a.m. to 1 p.m Saturday, April 19, at the Baseball Diamonds in Rotary Park! Preregistration is required.
- Family Easter Fair with Egg Hunt @ Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church from 10am to 12pm. Crafts and Easter fun including an Easter Egg hunt. There is no cost and no need to pre-register.
- Easter Event @ Laurel Park from 11am to 3pm. A fun-filled day of egg hunting, exciting games, raffle prize giveaways, and endless fun for the kids!
