Following his election win as 16th District Court Judge, Jim Jolly resigned from City Council.
The Council will be hosting a televised meeting on January 6, 2025 to appoint the interim city council member.
- The proposed amendments to the noise and toxic weed ordinance will remain in committee.
The following items were approved unanimously:
- Minutes & Consent Agenda
- Request to approve the shopees and multi-family housing planned at 39200 Six Mile Rd
- Awarding Frank Rewold and Sons the contract for construction management services
- Awarding Hobbs and Black the contract for architecture and engineering of the police building
- Waver petition to operate a Class C Liquor License at Cooper’s Hawk Winery, located at 17117 North Laurel Park Drive and wave the 1,000 foot separation requirement between Class C Liquor License holders.
- Petition to remodel existing car wash at Zaxs Auto Wash at 36001 Plymouth Road
- Support raising wages of Library Pages to reflect changes in the State of Michigan minimum wage law
- Various purchase requests
- Rental agreement with Consumers Energy
- Appointing Councilmember Donovic as council parliamentarian
