The first item was the proposed 24/25 budget. Council members asked questions to the Finance Director related to the Noble site, Sheldon Pool, Inspection Department, outstanding Fire union contract and other items. Council will receive a response from the administration and the final budget will be presented at a future meeting.

The second item was an appeal of a denial by the Planning Commission by Wanda Massage Institute at 37625 Ann Arbor Road. Representatives from the business maintained that the building would not be used for massage services but for a bilingual massage teaching program. Additional information regarding the curriculum was requested. The Wanda Massage Institute is seeking to operate under a lease agreement, the current property owners are behind on taxes by tens of thousands of dollars and owe thousands in the water bill as well. This will be voted on at a future Council meeting.
