Vote.Run.Serve – Livonia does not usually sumarize Planning Commission meetings, however, this week’s (June 18) meeting will be covered due to strong community interest.
Commissioners Dinaro and Caramagno were absent from this meeting.
The Planning Commission tabled issue 1 – granting a waiver use approval license to Kneeded Relief Massage at 32003 Plymouth Rd, Livonia, MI 48150 due to a tie vote recommending approval for their waiver use approval license.
The Planning Commission recommended approval for Schostak’s modified site plan for 7/Farmington – which includes rental townhomes and a Meijer Market.
The revised site plan reduced the design and proposed number of dwellings to 99 rental townhomes. The Meijer also featured significant design revisions.
The site plan moves to City Council for final approval, where the petitioners will be required to provide additional details including the hours of operation, and hours when delivery trucks will arrive. The Planning Commission also required updated designs as part of the recommendation for approval.
The Planning Commission tabled the motion of granting a Specially Designated Merchant alcohol license to the Meijer due to a tie vote.
