Saturday, June 1st
- Run 2 Save Our Youth 5k at Civic Center starts at 9am
- Clements Circle Splash Park opening. Summer hours are Monday – Friday from 1pm to 8pm and Saturday/Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
Sunday, June 2nd
- Summer Flea market at Greenmead from 10am to 4pm. Bring your wagon or cart and shop from over 160 vendors. Admission is $3 for guests ages 13 and older.
Friday, June 7th
- Livonia Symphony Orchestra’s Bob Bennett Memorial Golf Classic at Whispering Willows Golf Course.
June 7th – 9th
- Motor City Irish Fest at Greenmead is an annual event that brings together the Irish and their friends to celebrate Irish culture with music, dance, food and drink, exhibits, and activities for children. Tickets are $10 in advance per day or $15 at the gate on the day. Parking $5 per day per car.
Saturday, June 8th
- Passport To Safety at Fire Station 1 from 10am to 2pm. Meet safety mascots, play games, and join giveaways all while filling out your passport to learn about various departments and practices to keep you safe.
- Coffee Hour with Councilwoman Carrie Budzinski at the Civic Center Library at 11am. Ask questions about Council and hear from Nicholas Pickard of Wilson Barn and get an update on the Senior Center/Rec Center updates from Parks Superintendent Ted Davis.
- Botsford Pool opening. Summer hours are Monday – Friday from 1pm to 7pm and Saturday/Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
- Shelden Pool opening. Summer hours are Tuesday/Thursday from 3pm to 8pm and Saturday/Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
Sunday, June 9th
- Sharkettes: Swiming in Sequins at Kirksey Recreation Center at 10am. Join us for a free water show featuring live performances from our recreational classes and our competitive team!
Tuesday, June 11th
- Livonia Veterans Connection Meetup at DAV Chapter 114 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. All Livonia veterans are welcome to talk, share stories, talk about Veterans resources, and just enjoy some good old fashioned military camaraderie.
Wednesday, June 12th
- Mobile Escape Room for Teens at Civic Center library from 6pm to 8pm.
Thursday, June 13th
- Livonia Symphony Orchestra Patriotic & Pops Ice Cream Social and Concert at Kirksey Recreation Center from 5:30pm to 8pm. The ice cream social begins at 5:30pm and the concert begins at 7pm.
Friday, June 14th
- S’mores and Stories at Greenmead’s Newburg School. Enjoy roasting s’mores, telling stories, and enjoying a variety of activities around the campfire. This program is best for children ages 5-12 and all children must be accompanied by an adult (parents do not need to register). Tickets are $5 per child.
- Elemental Movie Night @ Unity of Livonia, 6pm. These movie nights are open to everyone and happen right at Unity of Livonia. Free popcorn.
Saturday, June 15th
- Livonia’s 2nd Annual Pride Celebration at Civic Center from 11am to 3pm.
Monday, June 17th
- Mad Science presents Adventure Awaits at Civic Center Library at 11am
- Crafts with Kirsty – Scratch Art – at Civic Center Library at 7pm. Registration required, 18+
Wednesday, June 19th
- Art on the Lawn @ Sandburg Library from 10:30am to 12pm.
Thursday, June 20th
- Livonia-Westland Chamber of Commerce hosts Sip Sit Sunshine Networking Patio Series at Black Label Tavern from 4pm to 6pm
- Game Night at Wilson Barn from 6:30pm to 9pm
Saturday, June 22nd
- Bluestone Voices for Autism Presents 2nd Annual Cars and Coffee for Kids at Detail Garage from 10am to 2pm. Join for cars, coffee, awards, raffles, 50/50, food truck, and more!
- Community Storytime @ Shelden Park at 10:15am. Join Animal Control Officer Keri Brandon for a Community Heroes Storytime! Kids and their grown-ups hear stories, finger plays, and learn all about Officer Brandon’s job.
- Rainbow Trunk or Treat hosted by PFLAG Livonia from 11am to 1pm at Newburg United Methodist Church.
- Wayne County Parks Juneteenth Heritage Day at Nankin Mills from 12pm to 4pm
Monday, June 24th
- Unlazy River at Civic Center Library from 11am to 1pm. Participants will complete a chalk obstacle course around the Civic Center Library while wearing or holding a pool float. Floats will be provided.
- Adventures in Watercolor Painting with Katie Rothley at Sandburg Library at 6pm. Registration required.
June 25th – 30th
- The Livonia Spree brings a week of fun with the carnival, live entertainment, 5k race, car show, pizza night, pancake breakfast, and fireworks!
Wednesday, June 26th
- Adventures in Fencing with Plymouth/Ann Arbor Fencing Academy at Sandburg Library at 2pm. Attendees will practice techniques with provided props. Regular equipment and gear will be for display purposes only. Ages 6+.
Saturday, June 29th
- Opening Day at Wilson’s Barn from 9am to 2pm
- Community Storytime @ Mies Park at 10:15am. Join Ordinance Office Mike Johnson for a Community Heroes Storytime! Participants will enjoy stories, finger plays, and learning all about the job of an ordinance officer. Kids of all ages welcome!
- Livonia’s 34th Annual Garden Walk from 10am to 4pm. Five privately owned gardens throughout the City of Livonia will be open for touring as well as the Simmons-Hill House Gardens. Tickets are $9 in advance, $10 day of the event. Maps are only available on the day of the walk.
- Wayne County’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection from 8am to 1pm at Henry Ford College (5101 Evergreen Rd, Dearborn)
Sunday, June 30th
- Livonia Women’s Connection at Greenmead Historical Park from 1:30pm to 3pm. Make new connections, catch up with friends, and join Livonia’s civic, community, and business leaders (and future leaders). The afternoon mixer will be held at the greenhouse (near the barns) with light refreshments.
- Village Tour at Greenmead Historical Park from 1pm to 4pm. Admission is by donation this year.
