- Livonia’s Emergency Preparedness Department hosts a “SKYWARN” training program at Civic Center Library from 7pm to 9pm. The SKYWARN training program is a partnership between the National Weather Service designed to help reduce the threat posed by severe weather.
Thursday, March 14th
- Starting a Business Workshop at Schoolcraft College from 6pm to 7:30pm. Designed for individuals who are considering self-employment or who may be at the beginning stages of starting a business. It will help aspiring entrepreneurs assess their abilities to lead and manage a company as well as evaluate market and sales potential for their products/services. Free admission.
Friday, March 15th
- St. Patrick’s Day Party at Livonia Senior Center at 11am. Join us for a traditional corned beef and cabbage luncheon with all the fixins, fun & festivities! Prizes given to the MOST festive, so get your green on. Cost $7 for residents.

- Coffee Hour with Councilwoman Carrie Budzinski – Let’s Talk Transit. Join a conversation about transit – specifically Livonia Community Transit and Bike/Walk Livonia at the Civic Center Library at 11am. All are welcome.
- Sleep In Heavenly Peace Bunk Bed Building at Department of Public Works from 8am to 1pm. Anyone ages 12 and up can help with the build process with an accompanying adult supervising. No experience or tools are necessary. We have all the tools required to use and safety equipment.
- Spring Easter Egg-stravaganza @ Bluestone Children’s Center from 11am to 2pm. There will be crafts, pictures with the Easter bunny, food, egg hunt, and so much more! Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
- Absolutely Incredible Kid Day at the Kirksey Recreation Center from 1pm to 3pm for kids ages 4-12. Crafts, games, self face painting, hero visits – the cost for members is $20, residents are $23
- Diggin Dinos at Civic Center Library from 1pm to 3pm. Dino tooth necklaces – we got them! Dino eggs – we got those, too! And of course, a dino bone dig! Pre-registration required.
- St. Patrick’s Tea at Greenmead Historical Park from 3pm to 5pm. Enjoy good company and Irish-themed entertainment, as well. Residents are $35

- Easter Hop at Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church from 10am to 12pm. Bring your own baskets to collect some goodies and enjoy a visit by the Easter Bunny. Admission is a canned food item for the Deacon’s Food Delivery Ministry.
- Bunny Brunch at Senior Center from 11am to 12:30pm. Lunch will consist of pizza, salad, chips and cookies. Tickets are $9
- Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament at Civic Center Library from 2pm to 4pm Teams of 2-6 people will compete to see who can complete a 500 piece puzzle in the shortest amount of time. A prize will be awarded to the winning team. Registration required

- Michigan Tea Scene at Civic Center Library from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Tea expert Brad Coates returns with a lively discussion about tea companies in Michigan and samples for all to enjoy during the program. Registration required

- 19th Annual Multicultural Fair at Schoolcraft College’s VistaTech Center from 10am to 3pm. Take a trip around the world at this international celebration! Free admission
- Easter ‘Eggs’Travaganza at Livonia Senior Center at 11am. Jelly beans, chocolate bunnies, raffles, give-a-ways and a delicious holiday meal. Cost $7 for residents.
Friday, March 29th
- Marshmallow Drop at Wayne County’s Nankin Mills Interpretive Center at 11am. Thousands of marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter to be turned in for a prize.

- Egg Hunt at Rotary Park from 10am to 1pm. FREE but pre-registration is required.
