On Wednesday, November 8th, City Council held a Public Hearing for a zoning amendment request by Matick Construction LLC. Public Hearings are not recorded and the VRS team attended in person to learn more about this topic.
Livonia based company Matick Construction LLC is requesting that the property at 37739 Seven Mile Rd be rezoned from N2 (Neighborhood) to C-1 (Local Business) for a new construction administrative office.
Currently at the site is a vacant home that is scheduled for demolition.
The Planning Commission recommended approval and City Council is moving forward with the ordinance change. There were no public comments offered by residents on their project.
