- Cat Cafe for Teens at the Civic Center Library from 2pm to 4pm. Cat Café features adorable cats from the Michigan Humane Society!
- Veterans Car & Bike Show at Detail Garage from 10am to 2:30pm
- 1920s Garden Party at Greenmead Historical Park from 2pm to 4pm. Take a stroll through the gardens, learn how to the Charleston, play games and visit our secret speakeasy for some prohibition-themed mocktails! Tickets are $20 for residents.
- Island Vibes Pub Crawl hosted by the Livonia Jaycee’s from 3:30pm to midnight.

- Reptiles in Residence at Greenmead at 10am. Learn about the different types or reptiles and amphibians, and how to properly care for them. Cost is $12 for residents

- Livonia Chamber hosts Sip Sit Sunshine Networking at Buffalo Wild Wings from 4pm to 7pm

- St. Rafka Church Annual Summer Festival. Giant inflatables, carnival games, face painting, henna tattoos and live music throughout the weekend performed by The Jessie-James Band, Basheer Twal and DJ Sal!
Friday, August 18th
- S’mores and Stories at Greenmead for kids ages 5 to 12 at 7pm. Cost is $5 per child.
Sunday, August 20th
- AMC Classic Car Show at Greenmead from 9am to 3pm. Admission is $5 for adults, children 11 and younger are free.
Monday, August 21st
- Village Tour at Greenmead from 1pm to 4pm
- Craft ith Kristy at Civic Center Library from 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Tuesay, August 22nd
- Bounce Back To School hosted by Livonia Public Schools at Stevenson High School. Admission is $5 per child
Wednesday, August 23rd
- Factory Farming with Lynn Henning, recipient of 2010 Goldman Environmental Prize–the environmental equivalent of the Nobel Prize, at Civic Center library from 7pm to 8:30pm
Thurday, August 24th
- Hands On History at Greenmead for kids ages 9 to 12 at 10am. Costs $35 per resident
Saturday, August 26th
- Touch-A-Truck @ Greenmead Historical Park from 8:30am to 2pm. Costs $5 per car for charity.
- Wicked Bizarre MI at Newburg United Methodist Church from 10am to 5pm. Halloween/Horror/Oddities type of craft and vendor event. Food trucks, saving scales reptile rescue, charity raffles and so much more. Over 100 Vendors inside and outside
Monday, August 28th
- Family-to-Family Sale at Kirksey Recreation Center from 5pm to 8pm
Thursday, August 31st
- Fundraisesr: Photos in the Park at Greenmead Historical Park. Get a 15 minute photoshoot for $40
