Minutes were approved.

City Treasurer Lynda Scheel reminded residents that the summer tax bill was sent out and homeowners have until Thursday, September 14th to pay the bill. Learn more about tax information here: https://livonia.gov/1762/Tax-and-Payment-Information

She also requested Council Resolution 355-22 be amended to clearly state that there would be no fee for requests for information from the tax database. This request was unanimously approved.

Councilman Brandon McCullough motioned to put the subject of Noble Library in the Capital Outlay and Infrastructure Committee. It was approved.

Councilwoman Kathleen McIntyre offered a summary of the June 19th Public Safety & Health Committee Meeting on deer population. Council voted to join the Urban Deer Coalition. VRS shared a summary of this meeting here: https://voterunservelivonia.com/…/public-safety-health…/

The consent agenda was approved and the following items:

☑️ Temporary chiller for Bennett Library

☑️ DPW Contract request for work on local landfill

A contract bid recommended by OHM for Murphy Pipelines to complete a $5.4M water main replacement project was approved. This was a disputed issue that received debate on council.

A waiver petition to overrule the Planning Commission’s denial of Yo-Yo Spa at 33316 Plymouth was denied (the Planning Commissions denial upheld). This was a disputed issue that received debate on council.

☑️ Road closure requests for Sunday, December 3rd Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting

☑️ Contract approval for lane line marking program
